NICE TO MEET YOU
Hi there! We are Lea and Mel, two Aussie Mums and entrepreneurs who have been living in the Middle East for more than 20 years.
For the last few years we have been working on launching The Wishing Tree Early Learning Group in Saudi Arabia with a focus on education and whole of child wellbeing and development.
We thought, why not share all of this information with parents everywhere, instead of just the families whose children attend our centres and thus Growing Little Humans was born.
ABOUT US
Mel has 2 sons. Her early career was in the Army before achieving her Bachelor of Education and later a Masters in Early Childhood Education. Mel owned an Early Learning Centre in Australia and was the Director of Early Learning Centres in the UAE for many years before moving on to teach KG and Elementary. Most recently Mel was the Kindergarten and Elementary Principal at an American school in the UAE.
Lea has a son and a daughter. Her career in various industries has been mainly corporate, with the exception of being the Administrative Director of an Early Learning Centre for several years. For more than the last decade her career has been focused on trade and investment, in an Australian state government role.
Together, their complimentary skill sets make them the perfect team!
